Description

What a lovely colourful idol of Lord Krishna playing flute and peacock flaunting around. The vibrant colours and detailing of the statue is outstanding. An incredibly carved stupefying figure. Krishna is the most charismatic avatar of Vishnu. World knows him as “Mormukutdhari” as well. “Mor” means peacock and “mukut” is crown. Dhari refers to a person wearing a crown with peacock features, that is Lord Krishna.

Lots of peacock here and each one is a wonder. Not a single flaw at carving or beautifying. This excellent wooden piece of work deserves a center place of your home. Gifting is another good option. If you’ve ever gone through Lord Krishna’s life, you’ll find him adorable of all. This idol explains the beautiful relation of Krishna with peacocks.

As a folk tale speaks out, Once Lord Krishna was lost in playing his flute. He could not even realize when bunch of peacocks arrived there and started dancing. King of peacock couldn’t stop himself and requested Lord Krishna to dance with them. People were mesmerized watching that divine angelic scene.
